A Group Cities of Mazandaran Water Treatment, which includes the cities of Babol, Amirkola, BABOLSAR and Fereydunkenar and its surroundings, is designed to treat and transfer potable water with a capacity of 260,000 m3/day. The amount of suspended solids in the water treatment plant is considered 50 NTU.

The main process units are as follows:

• flow control valve chamber/• grit chamber/• micro strainer unit/• aeration unit

• flash mixing tank/• clarifier/• filtration unit/• Water storage tanks/• sludge thickener/• sludge dewatering unit /• preparation and injection package.
